Reading Student Hit By Car Near High School, Police Say

A 14-year-old student was hit by a car while walking to Reading High School on Thursday morning, Sept. 28, police told Daily Voice.

The student, a girl, was crossing the street at the same time a car was turning, RPD said. 

Her injuries were non-life-threatening and she was treated at a nearby hospital, police added. 

The driver stayed on-scene and is cooperating with investigators.
